Postdoctoral position (German Habilitand) at the Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Erlangen, Erlangen, Germany. Head of own Freeze-Drying Research Group at the Department of Pharmaceutics (LPTFreeze-Drying).

Research Interests:

Freeze-drying of biologicals and pharmaceuticals

  • formulation design of small molecules and protein drugs including nanomaterials,
  • freeze-dry microscopy (FDM) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), measurement methodology and data transferability,
  • freeze-drying process design and optimization,
  • heat and mass transfer of new container systems used for freeze-drying,
  • development of process analytical technologies (PAT) for freeze-drying,
  • principles of scale-up and operational qualification.
